Photographer Lucas Garrido | Client Nike | My Role: Creative Producer, Nike Brand Creative, Men's Studio
As the lead producer on this high-stakes global campaign, I was responsible for delivering world-class creative under extreme constraints across two high profile shoots on two continents.
The first shoot required a masterclass in logistics and diplomacy: with only 12 days of prep and just 45 minutes of access to Vini Jr. for a one-take reveal, I acted as the central hub for six internal Nike departments to ensure a flawless execution.
For the second shoot in Madrid, Spain, I stepped beyond a traditional producer role to provide senior on-set creative partnership with my Nike APLA team and Nike’s EMEA office, who needed to share our set and resources last minute. With just 20 minutes of access with Vini, our CGI world on set had to be seamless, so I treated our pre-light day as a full dress rehearsal. I had the crew, including body doubles, run every shot, lens change, and set change to perfection, transforming a high-risk shoot into a predictable, controlled process.
I successfully negotiated a complex split-budget across two international shoots and managed multiple vendors, including a challenging CGI house in Germany. My rigorous financial oversight and negotiation skills were instrumental in delivering the entire global campaign for a lean $300k budget. The campaign earned features in Hypebeast and SoccerBible and praise from international stakeholders for my grace under pressure.
